Welcome to Open Arms of Fort Pierce! As director, I'd like to tell you about myself and all the wonderful new opportunities available to you and your family here at Open Arms of Fort Pierce, Early Childhood Learning Center.

My career is my dream. I have worked in the childcare field since 1999. I absolutely love what I do and could not dream of doing anything else. I'm a mother of two wonderful, beautiful, exceptional boys. Corey, 14 years old and Chad, 9 years old, who are both very active in sports and school. I have lived in the Port St. Lucie area since 1993. Before that I grew up on Long Island, New York until I was 20 years old when I moved to Camp LeJuene, North Carolina for a short time. I am extremely close to my family and would not be who I am today without them.

I started my working career in banking, but I always wanted to work with children for as long as I can remember. When I was ready for my oldest to start school at age 2, I was not completely comfortable with leaving him with people that I didn't know so I decided to work at the school that I was enrolling him in. I instantly fell in love with Early Childhood and continues my education towards an Early Childhood Degree, which I received three years ago.

Open Arms of Fort Pierce provides a rich environment where children are led to discover and develop their unique gifts and abilities. Our goal is to use these gifts and abilities to care for each other and for the world God has given us.
